Sigma Designs
Aurelia Popa-Radu is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in software development and hardware interfaces. Currently serving as a principal software engineer at Sigma Designs since March 2006, Aurelia specializes in designing and implementing software-hardware interfaces for various media chips, as well as utilizing a hardware library in Linux drivers. Aurelia's tenure at Sigma Designs began in 1995, with roles as a senior software engineer and software engineer, focused on developing Windows drivers for media chips with PCI interfaces. Prior to this, Aurelia worked at Automatica from 1985 to 1994 as an electronics engineer, where responsibilities included designing CPU boards and developing firmware and software for distributed control systems. Aurelia holds a Master of Science degree in Electronics Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute Bucharest.

Sigma Designs is no longer in business. Its previous intellectual properties now belong to V-Silicon (TV semiconductors), Silicon Labs (Z-Wave and Internet of Things), and ISSI (G.hn).
