Oren Shamai is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the medical device and high-tech industries. As the Head of Engineering at V-Wave since July 2020, Oren has successfully led improvement and optimization processes in manufacturing methodologies, preparing the company for commercialization. Simultaneously serving as a Project Manager at Medinol since March 2017, Oren oversees complex engineering projects related to stenting systems, enhancing cross-organization capabilities. Oren's prior roles include R&D Mechanical Engineer at USR Electronic Systems and Senior Mechanical Engineer at Xsight Systems, where responsibilities included mechanical design and development of hybrid sensors. Oren also held positions at Iscar as a Mechanical Engineer and Technological Manager, overseeing CNC manufacturing processes. Oren holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Design with a focus on Medical Design and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, both from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
