Michael Sherman

Michael Sherman possesses extensive experience in corrosion control and engineering, currently serving as Corrosion Field Supervisor for the Southwest Region at V&A Consulting Engineers since September 2004. Responsibilities include activating and inspecting cathodic protection systems, assessing the structural condition of water and wastewater facilities, conducting nondestructive inspections, and performing data analysis and system design. Prior roles include Senior Cathodic Protection Technician, where monitoring and activating cathodic protection systems were key tasks, and Cathodic Protection Technician at DeC, Consulting Engineers, Inc. Michael's foundational experience in the United States Marine Corps involved operating cryogenic equipment and managing technical publications. Educational achievements include certifications from NACE International and SSPC in various aspects of cathodic protection and coatings.
