Dr. Joachim Kuhn

Dr. Joachim Kuhn has extensive work experience in the fields of material science and energy research. Dr. Joachim founded va-Q-tec in 2001, where they developed and launched innovative insulation materials that are now industry standards. Dr. Joachim currently serves as the CEO of va-Q-tec, focusing on temperature controlled packaging solutions. Prior to founding va-Q-tec, Dr. Kuhn worked as the Institute Operation Manager at ZAE Bayern- Center for Applied Energy Research from 1994 to 2001. Dr. Joachim also worked as a Research Engineer & Physicist at the same institution from 1990 to 1994.

Dr. Joachim Kuhn obtained a Master's degree in Physics from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg, completing their studies from 1983 to 1989. Dr. Joachim further pursued their academic interests and earned a PhD in Applied Physics from the same university in the years 1990 to 1994. Additionally, Dr. Kuhn also attained a Coaching Certification from Trainer Akademie in Cologne during the period of 1990 to 1994.
