Amir Basha

Amir Basha possesses extensive experience in the desalination and engineering sectors, serving as Chief Technology Officer and Head of the Nemmeli 100 MLD Desalination Plant at VA Tech Wabag Ltd. from April 2013 to March 2014. Prior to this role, Amir Basha was Senior Vice President of Engineering and Projects at Moya Bushnak for nearly 14 years, overseeing engineering, projects, and trade divisions. Earlier in the career, Amir Basha worked at the Saline Water Conversion Corporation from January 1989 to September 1999, focusing on operations and maintenance of thermal and seawater reverse osmosis desalination plants as a Senior Mechanical Engineer. The career began at Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd., progressing from Engineer Trainee to Deputy Manager from January 1977 to January 1989. Amir Basha holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University.
