Darryl Smith currently serves as the Supply Chain Director at VAALCO Energy, Inc. since February 2023. Prior to this, Darryl held significant leadership roles at CNOOC International, including Global Supply Chain Leader for International Projects, where strategic management of the Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence was a key focus. Darryl's experience also encompasses operational leadership at Shell and Nexen Petroleum, where responsibilities included managing major capital projects and overseeing diverse teams in supply chain management. With a robust educational background including an MBA in International Business from The University of Manchester and an Executive Certificate in Supply Chain Leadership from Stanford University, Darryl combines extensive industry expertise with advanced knowledge in financial management and supply chain practices.
