George Coltrin

George Coltrin is an experienced drilling manager with expertise in managing multi-well programs and providing technical support in drilling and completions. Currently serving as Drilling Manager at VAALCO Energy, Inc. since September 2021, George oversees a team that plans and executes development wells for the Etame-Marin complex offshore Gabon. Additionally, George has been a Project Advisor at Endeavor Management since April 2021, offering technical guidance to clients. Previous roles include serving as Drilling Engineering Manager at CNOOC International, Drilling Technical Advisor at Marathon Oil Corporation, and various positions at bp over a span of 21 years. George holds a Master of Science in Geological/Geophysical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in the same field from Cornell University.
