Joey R. James is an experienced construction and quality assurance professional with a diverse background in the energy sector. Currently serving as the Fabrication & Installation QA/QC Construction Lead at VAALCO Energy, Inc. since April 2022, Joey previously held roles including Construction Foreman/CWI at QuarterNorth Energy, Construction Manager/CWI at Danos, and Client Representative at Clover Global Solutions, LP. Proficient in supervising mechanical construction projects, managing safety practices, and providing constructability input during project design, Joey has contributed to both onshore and offshore projects throughout a career that has included positions at Falcon Steel America, Gulf Island Fabrication, Inc., and the Port of Lake Charles. With a solid educational foundation that includes an Associate of Science in Network and System Administration and training from the Hobart Institute of Welding Technology, Joey brings a comprehensive skill set to project execution and quality management.
