Martin Hapl

Martin Hapl has a wealth of experience in various leadership roles within the technology industry. Martin currently serves as the Vice President of Product Development at Vacasa, where they are responsible for establishing Vacasa's engineering site in Prague, Czech Republic. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President Operations at Pex, where they orchestrated smooth operations across departments and led internal data analytics to inform strategic decisions. Martin also served as the General Manager, Europe at Pex, where they built and developed the European team and conducted research on market products. Before joining Pex, they worked at GoodData, where they held multiple roles, including Vice President of Services and Director of Consulting Europe and Managed Services. In these positions, they focused on optimizing operational excellence, team building and management, and implementing new processes. Martin also gained experience at HP Software as the EMEA Practice Lead for SOA and as a Project/Program Manager. Additionally, they worked at Systinet, A Mercury Division, where they served as a Senior Consultant, Senior Engineer in Technical Services, and Support Engineer. Martin Hapl started their career at KPNQwest Czechia, where they worked in network monitoring and support. From 1996 to 2000, Martin Hapl studied Computer Science at CVUT (Czech Technical University, CTU).
