Vikas Mishra

Vikas Mishra has a solid background in research and scientific roles. Vikas started their career as a Research Supervisor at the Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences in 2010. Vikas then worked as a Post Doctoral Associate at the University of Nebraska Medical Center from 2011 to 2013. After that, they moved to the Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center as a Postdoctoral Research Associate for a year. In 2014, Vikas became a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where they worked until 2016. Vikas then joined the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow from 2017 to 2018. Following that, they worked as a Research Scientist at the University of Rochester Medical Center from 2018 to 2019. Currently, Vikas is at Vaccinex, where they have held the positions of Research Scientist and Senior Scientist from 2019 onwards.

Vikas Mishra holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Virology from King George's Medical University. Vikas also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Dr. R. M. L. Avadh University, Faizabad, and a Master of Science degree in Microbiology from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University. In addition to their formal education, Vikas has obtained certifications in "Introduction to Data Curation for SAS Data Scientists" from SAS and "Medical Neuroscience" from Coursera. Vikas obtained the SAS certification in October 2021 and the Coursera certification in May 2020.
