FUNMI FATUS FCCA MICA

Funmi Fatus has diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles. FUNMI started their career at Deloitte as an Audit Assistant from January 2001 to January 2002. FUNMI then worked as a self-employed Accounting Tutor from January 2002 to December 2008.

Funmi joined Hertz in June 2008 as a Reconciliations/Internal Control Accountant, later becoming a Team Lead. FUNMI held this position until December 2012. From January 2013 to September 2014, Funmi worked as an Accountant at Hertz.

In May 2015, Funmi joined Solera | Audatex as a Financial Accountant/Manager on a contract basis. FUNMI worked in this role until March 2016. FUNMI then moved to Vodafone, where they worked as a Financial Accountant on a contract basis from March 2016 to June 2017.

In August 2017, Funmi joined Centrica as a Financial Reporting Accountant on a contract basis. FUNMI worked in this role for a short period until October 2017. From October 2017 to January 2023, Funmi worked at Boehringer Ingelheim as a Finance Manager.

Currently, Funmi holds the position of UK Financial Controller at Vaccitech, starting from April 2023.

Funmi Fatus has a diverse education history. In 2010, they completed their ACCA degree and became a Fellow in Accountancy. FUNMI also holds an Advanced Diploma in Governance Risk and Compliance from the International Compliance Association. Additionally, Funmi earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management & Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University. In terms of professional development, they completed the Senior Management Program at Cambridge Judge Business School and obtained a Yellow Belt from The Lean Six Sigma Company. Furthermore, Funmi is currently pursuing an ADIT (PQ) qualification from CIOT.
