Ed Robertson, CFA has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Ed is currently serving as the Head of Financial Institutions Group (FIG) and Senior Managing Director at Vaco since June 2018. Prior to this, from March 2013 to June 2018, they held the position of Head of Financial Institutions Group (FIG) and Managing Director at Situs.

Ed also worked as the Managing Director and Head of Bank & Loan Advisory Services at Clayton Holdings from March 2008 to March 2013. Before that, they served as the EVP/CFO at Aegis Mortgage, a subsidiary of Cerberus Capital Management, from January 2007 to December 2007.

From April 2001 to February 2007, Ed held various roles at Washington Mutual, including EVP/CFO of the Commercial Lending Group. Ed achieved significant accomplishments during their tenure, such as streamlining operations, generating revenue, reducing costs, and implementing effective loss mitigation programs.

Before joining Washington Mutual, Ed worked as the CFO of the Latin American Regional Office (LARO) at Barclays Corporate & Investment Bank from July 1995 to April 2001. In this role, they played a crucial role in turning around a Brazilian joint venture financial institution and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Ed Robertson, CFA holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Marketing & Finance from the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business. Ed then pursued their MBA in Finance & Marketing at the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business. In 1987, Ed obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute. Additionally, they have obtained various other certifications throughout their career, including the Series 7 and 63 registrations as a Registered Representative, as well as milestone achievements in the CFA Institute's professional learning and continuing education programs.
