Walter Belt

Walter Belt is a seasoned financial executive currently serving as CFO Advisor and Managing Director for CFO Advisors in the San Antonio, South, and Southwest Texas Markets at Vaco since February 2019. In addition, Walter has been a member of the Board of Directors at Texas Partners Bank, where responsibilities include chairing the Audit and Trust Committees and serving on the ALCO and Credit Committees since 2008. Previous roles include Director and Chair of the Audit Committee at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts (2008-2020) and Managing Partner at Aventine Hill Partners, Inc. (2011-2019). Walter also held the position of Chief Credit Officer and Vice Chairman of the Board at The Bank of San Antonio (2009-2010) and served as Audit Partner at KPMG from 1970 to 2007. Walter holds an MBA in Finance from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from The University of Texas at Austin.
