Brian Smithmeyer

Brian Smithmeyer has extensive experience in engineering management, currently serving as Engineering Manager at Vactor Manufacturing since October 2006. In this role, Brian provides leadership and development for the Product Engineering team and conducts performance reviews. Previous positions at Vactor include Engineering Supervisor and Project Engineer, where responsibilities included coordinating the design and modification of large vacuum trucks using Pro/Engineer and ensuring design compliance with standards for strength, safety, and quality. Prior to Vactor, Brian worked as a Design Engineer at Hydro Gate from 2000 to 2006. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bradley University, earned between 1994 and 1999.
