Head of Cognitive EW at Vadum

Brandon Stanton has worked in various roles throughout their career. Brandon has held positions at companies such as Vadum Inc., Cubic Mission Solutions, United Technologies, Cree, and North Carolina State University.

At Vadum Inc., they worked as the Head of Cognitive EW starting in February 2023.

At Cubic Mission Solutions, they held multiple roles. Brandon served as the Director Defense & Space Business Area from October 2019 to March 2023, where they were responsible for P&L ownership, program execution, customer capture, and risk mitigation. Prior to that, they were a Program Manager from July 2016 to October 2019, where they focused on customer capture, risk mitigation, and program milestone negotiation.

At United Technologies, they held various roles. Brandon served as a Strategic Operations Manager from July 2015 to July 2016, overseeing cost reduction activities across multiple sites. Brandon also worked as an Embedded Systems Hardware Group Manager from December 2012 to July 2015, implementing development processes to improve efficiency. Additionally, they served as an Electronics IPT Manager from October 2011 to December 2012.

At Cree, they worked as a Development Engineer from October 2008 to October 2011, leading new product introduction teams and improving LED component processes.

At North Carolina State University, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant from January 2002 to June 2004, designing and building optical experiments. Brandon also served as a Teaching Assistant from January 2002 to June 2002, setting up and updating the fiber optics laboratory.

Throughout their career, Brandon has gained experience in program management, cost reduction, engineering, and research.

Brandon Stanton attended North Carolina State University from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Brandon then pursued further studies at the same university from 2001 to 2003, completing a Master of Science degree in the same field. Later, from 2014 to 2016, they attended the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, where they earned an Executive MBA degree, with a specialization in Business Administration and Management.
