Johan Elkjær

Johan Elkjær has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Johan is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at VAEKST since August 2022. Prior to this role, Johan worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Resights from October 2021 to March 2022. Before that, they co-founded Public Works in February 2020, where they served as a Co-Founder until August 2021.

In 2017, Johan founded Complia and held the position of Founder until June 2020. Before starting their own venture, they worked as a Consultant at CLOUT from an unspecified start date to June 2020.

Johan also gained valuable experience at the Danish Institute Against Torture (DIGNITY) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Denmark. At DIGNITY, they served as an IT-chef/CIO from June 2015 to January 2017, and prior to that, they worked as an IT and Communications Officer from April 2012 to June 2015. Earlier in their career, Johan worked as a Student Assistant at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Denmark from September 2010 to January 2012.

Throughout their career, Johan has showcased their expertise in technology, software engineering, founding startups, and providing consulting services.

Johan Elkjær obtained their Master's degree in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen, known as Københavns Universitet, during the period from 2004 to 2011. In 2012, they pursued a short-term program in Computer Programming at Copenhagen University College of Engineering, focusing on Object-oriented programming.
