Dan Abel

Dan Abel has over 35 years of work experience in the hospitality industry. Dan is currently the Vice President of Facilities/Engineering at VAI Resort. Prior to this, they worked as the Regional Director of Engineering at Aimbridge Hospitality, and as the Principal at Abel Hospitality Project Management LLC. Dan has also held various leadership positions at Arizona Biltmore, Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass Resort, Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Hotel, Sheraton Bloomington Hotel Minneapolis South, Four Points by Sheraton Pittsburgh, DoubleTree Hotel Mall of America, and Registry Hotel. With a strong background in property operations, maintenance, and engineering, Dan has proven himself as a skilled and experienced professional in the field.

Dan Abel attended the US Army 52C20 school in Ft. Belvoir, Va. in 1984 for HVAC/Refrigeration School. Dan also studied Industrial Energy Systems at Hennepin Technical College from 1980 to 1982 and Refrigeration/HVAC at the same college from 1977 to 1979. Dan Abel completed their high school education at Richfield High School from 1976 to 1979.
