Lead PT For Orthopedic Residency Programming at Vail Health

Sonya Greider, PT, DPT, OCS, serves as Adjunct Faculty in the musculoskeletal curriculum at Tufts University School of Medicine since February 2023, focusing on lab immersive experiences for Doctor of Physical Therapy students. In addition, Sonya has been the Lead PT for Orthopedic Residency Programming at Vail Health since October 2016, working with Howard Head Sports Medicine. Previous roles include Staff Physical Therapist at Waco Orthopedic Physical Therapy and Contract Physical Therapist at Lott Physical Therapy - Corsicana in early 2016. Sonya completed an Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center from December 2014 to March 2016, which involved patient treatment, mentorship, and research. Initial clinical experience includes roles as a Student Physical Therapist at Children's Medical Center, Ironman Sports Medicine Institute Memorial Hermann, and Accel Rehabilitation Hospital of Plano. Sonya holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Professional Kinesiology from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville.
