Jon Tesseo

Jon Tesseo is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in investment management and quantitative research. Currently serving as the Director at 5th Horizon since January 2020, Tesseo manages the short book at a startup Long Biased Hedge Fund and collaborates with the founder to enhance investment outcomes. Tesseo has held various key positions, including Secretary of the Board of Directors at Quantitative Analysis and Modeling, Managing Director and Head of Quantitative Research at Signal Analytics, and Vice President at Denver Investments, where responsibilities included developing quantitative models and managing funds. Additional roles include teaching Portfolio Construction at the University of Denver and leading research teams at Harris Investment Management and Navellier & Associates. Tesseo holds a BS.B.A in Finance from Bryant University and has a background in outdoor instruction as a snowboard instructor.
