Julia Bennett has extensive experience in outdoor education and instruction, particularly within ski and snowboard programs. Currently serving as a Ski & Snowboard School Seasonal Programs Supervisor at Vail Resorts since October 2022, Julia previously held roles at Palisades Tahoe, including Certified Ski Instructor and Trainer, where responsibilities included teaching students of all levels and enhancing staff training and operations. Julia also has a background in fisheries science, having led a field crew for Trout Unlimited and interned on fishery monitoring studies. Julia's foundational work includes developing educational curricula and leading environmental science programs for various organizations. Julia earned a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from The University of the South in 2011.
