Stephen Tifft

Stephen Tifft is a skilled professional with diverse experience in outdoor safety and engineering. Currently serving as a Ski Patrol member at Vail Resorts since October 2022, Stephen provides first aid, conducts equipment inspections, and ensures skier safety. Previously, Stephen worked as an Emergency Department Technician at Denver Health and held multiple roles at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, advancing from a Chemical Engineering Research Intern to Research Engineer II over several years. Earlier positions include Mountain Safety Officer at Vail Resorts and roles in marketing and leadership at the University of Colorado Boulder. Stephen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and has a strong background in teamwork, safety education, and operational efficiencies.
