Taner Kodanaz

Taner Kodanaz is an experienced professional with a diverse background spanning over two decades in strategic communications, brand experience, and emergency medical services. Currently serving as Vail Mountain Special Ops at Vail Resorts since November 2022, Taner enhances guest experience by focusing on safety and mountain knowledge. Previously held the role of Vice President of Strategic Communications at Mercury Systems, where responsibilities included developing a global communications strategy and positioning the company within the aerospace and defense industry. Taner has also held senior positions at Maxar Technologies and DigitalGlobe, where significant contributions were made to industry leadership and geospatial solutions. Earlier roles include key positions at Promethean, COMSYS, Immedient, and Ciber, focusing on brand strategy, philanthropic alliances, and technology services. Taner holds an Emergency Medical Services certificate from Colorado Mountain College and has education from Washington University in St. Louis.
