Andrew Prowant

Andrew Prowant has a diverse work experience in the field of technology. Andrew started their career at ANSYS, Inc. as a Jr. Systems Admin, where they gained experience in help desk support and assisting senior administrators. Andrew then worked at Prism CSI/RedConnect as a Systems Administrator, handling daily administration tasks and troubleshooting. At Corecomm, they served as a Senior Systems Administrator, focusing on the email system, DNS, and fine-tuning MySQL and Postfix. Andrew also worked at Mbira Technologies as a Senior Systems Administrator, responsible for IT-related tasks and providing 24/7 support. Andrew joined Vail Systems as a Systems Admin Lead, overseeing system administration and security, and later became the Director of System Administration, leading a team and transitioning to Linux. Andrew also worked at Diio, LLC as a Sr. Systems Administrator and FlightGlobal as a Sr. Systems Engineer. Currently, they serve as the Sr. Director of Operations at Vail Systems.
