Karl van der Merwe

Karl van der Merwe has work experience in various roles at different companies. Karl started their career in 2012 as a Systems Analyst at North West University Potchefstroom Campus, where they worked until 2024. In 2017, they joined Vaimo as a Project Manager, and later took on the role of Business Unit Manager in 2021. Currently, they are serving as the Commercial Director at Vaimo since 2023.

Karl van der Merwe attended Windhoek High School from 2005 to 2007, where they matriculated. From 2008 to 2011, they studied at North-West University / Noordwes-Universiteit, earning a B.Sc in Biological and Environmental Sciences, with a focus on Information Technology, Computer Sciences, and Geography (GIS). Karl also obtained a certification in B.Sc Biological and Environmental Sciences from North West University Potchefstroom Campus in 2011.
