Masaki Yamano

Masaki (Mark) Yamano has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Masaki (Mark) is currently serving as the President and CEO of VAIO Corporation since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked as an Executive Advisor at Japan Industrial Partners, Inc. starting from November 2020.

Before that, Masaki worked for Mitsubishi Corporation for several years. Masaki (Mark) held the position of SVP & General Manager, Singapore Branch from April 2017 to November 2021, overseeing all businesses of Mitsubishi Corporation in Singapore, with a focus on the ASEAN market. Masaki (Mark) also served as the Senior Vice President, Division COO, managing the IT Service Business Division and promoting digital innovation initiatives from May 2014 to March 2017.

Masaki's previous experience includes working as the Executive Vice President at IT Frontier Corporation in 2013, where they played a crucial role in the company's merger with Tata Consultancy Services Japan. Masaki (Mark) also worked at Mitsubishi Corporation as the General Manager of the Consulting and SI Business Unit from July 2008 to March 2013, leading subsidiaries in the IT business field and driving business development initiatives.

Before their tenure at Mitsubishi Corporation, Masaki served as the President and CEO of Bewith, Inc., a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation, from April 2006 to June 2008. Masaki (Mark) successfully turned around the company during a challenging period of over-reliance on a failing customer.

Masaki began their career at Mitsubishi Wireless Communications, Inc. in May 1995, where they held the position of Executive Vice President. Masaki (Mark) was responsible for managing sales and marketing efforts for Mitsubishi branded cellular phones to telecommunications carriers and retailers.
