Iliya Kirchev

Iliya Kirchev has diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and positions. Iliya began their career in 1996 as the Chief Treasurer at Popular Fund 95, a nonbanking financial institution. Iliya then worked as the Deputy CFO at Celhart JSC (currently known as Mondi Bulgara) from 1998 to 1999. In 1999, they became the Branch Manager for Allianz Bulgaria Bank. Kirchev then moved to HVB Bank Biochim, where they served as the Branch Manager and later as the Regional Retail Manager from 2003 to 2005. From 2005 to 2012, they joined Postbank (Eurobank Bulgaria AD) as a Branch Manager and subsequently as the Regional Manager for Corporate Clients. Iliya then worked at First Investment Bank as a Regional Manager from 2012 to 2013. In 2014, they joined Bulgarian Development Bank as an Executive Director and Board Member until 2018. From 2018 to 2019, they served as the Managing Partner at Regaton Plc. In 2018, they also took on the role of General Manager for Central and Eastern Europe at Vaiu Global Inc, where they continue to work. Iliya'smost recent position is as the CEO and sole owner of Profinance, a role they assumed in 2020.

Iliya Kirchev's education history begins in 1984 when they attended the English Language School in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Iliya completed their studies in 1988 and obtained an Associate degree in English Language and Computer Science. Following this, from 1988 to 1989, they attended the High School of Mathematics in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, where they earned an Associate's degree in Computer Science.

In 1991, Kirchev enrolled at the University of National and World Economy, where they pursued a Master's degree in Finance and Financial Management Services. Iliya completed their studies in 1996.

To further enhance their knowledge, Iliya Kirchev attended the Technical University of Sofia from 2009 to 2010, where they earned a postgraduate qualification in Electrical and Power Engineering.

Most recently, in 2019, Kirchev attended SDA Bocconi, where they pursued an Executive Master's Degree in Finance, Banking, and Real Estate. Iliya completed this program in 2020.
