Semih Demir

Semih Demir has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Semih is currently serving as the Head of Strategy at Vakıf Katılım since April 2023. Previously, they held the position of Head of Strategy and Investor Relations from April 2022 to April 2023 at the same company. Before that, they worked as the Strategy and Business Development AVP at Vakıf Katılım from December 2020 to April 2022. Semih also has experience working at Türkiye Finans Katılım Bankası as a Strategic Analysis Asst. VP from March 2020 to November 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Kuveyt Türk Katılım Bankası, where they held various roles including Strategic Planning and Monitoring Supervisor, Strategic Planning and Monitoring Associate, and Strateji Planlama ve İzleme Uzman Yardımcısı from 2015 to 2020. Semih started their career as an Intern at PwC in September 2014 and also gained experience as an Intern at Slovenian Business and Research Association, SBRA in 2013.

Semih Demir earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from TOBB Ekonomi ve Teknoloji Üniversitesi from 2011 to 2015, with a GPA of 3.41. Semih then pursued a Master of Science degree in Big Data Analytics and Management at Bahcesehir University from 2017 to 2019.
