Jukka Helenius

Jukka Helenius has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Jukka started their career in 1999 as a Field Testing Engineer at Nokia Networks, where they were responsible for field testing and troubleshooting mobile radio networks. In 2001, they worked as a System Verification Engineer, focusing on testing and upgrading professional mobile radio networks.

Helenius then transitioned to being a Software Verification Engineer in 2003, specializing in functional testing for mobile 2G/3G GPRS networks. Jukka automated test cases using catapult and HIT automation tools. Jukka continued their career at Nokia Solutions and Networks, where they performed Online Charging Functional testing for LTE Flexi NG. Jukka automated test cases using the Robot Framework and configured them to run on Jenkins.

In 2012, they worked as an Engineer, I&V at Nokia Siemens Networks & Nokia Solution and Networks Oy, where they performed manual functional testing, upgrades, documentation, and troubleshooting for LTE Flexi NG embedded software. Jukka also developed Python functions in the Robot Framework for efficiency purposes.

Helenius joined Nokia Solution and Networks Oy in 2015 as an Engineer, I&V, specializing in performance/profiling testing and maintaining the Robot Framework based test environment. Jukka ensured code commits did not harm the quality and provided troubleshooting support.

Currently, Helenius is employed at VALA Group Oy as a Senior QA Engineer. Jukka previously worked as a Test Automation Engineer, utilizing their skills in test automation.

Jukka Helenius's education history includes attending Helsingin Ammattikorkeakoulu Stadia from 1997 to 2000. During this time, they pursued a degree in Sähkö ja tietoliikennetekniikan koulutusohjelma, with a field of study in Tietoliikennetekniikka (Electrical and telecommunications engineering). Prior to that, from 1992 to 1995, Jukka attended Kirkkonummen ammattioppilaitos, where they obtained a degree in Sähkövoimatekniikka (Electrical power engineering) and specialized as a Sähkövoimatekniikan mekaanikko (Electrical power engineering mechanical technician).

Additionally, Jukka Helenius has acquired the certification in "Elements of AI" from the University of Helsinki and Reaktor. However, the specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
