Matti Sipponen

Matti Sipponen has had a diverse work experience. Matti started their career in 1982 as a Traffic Official at VR Group and then worked as a Coach at City of Turku from 1992 to 1994. In 1995, they joined Oy Pohjolan Liikenne Ab, Transpoint Oy Ab as a Systems Engineer, where they were responsible for registration, invoicing systems, and reporting. Matti also served as a Project Manager during version change and deployment projects. From 2000 to 2015, they worked at Capgemini Finland Oy as a Senior Software Engineer, specializing in Java and web-based application development and maintenance. Currently, they are working at VALA Group as a Senior Software Engineer, where they are involved in customer service, software development, maintenance, and project management.

Matti Sipponen started their education in 1991 at the Markkinointi-instituutti where they obtained an Office Manager exam in Business Administration and Management. From 1996 to 1999, they attended ATK-Instituutti and received a Vocational Qualification in Business Information Technology.

In 2015, they enrolled at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences and completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a specialization in Information Technology in 2017.
