Petri Virtanen

Petri Virtanen has a wide range of work experience, with their most recent role as a Test Manager at VALA Group since November 2016. Prior to that, they had a long tenure at Nokia Networks, where they held various positions. Starting in 1993, they worked as a Testing Engineer and later became a System Testing Engineer. Subsequently, they became a Senior Testing Engineer, specializing in Mobile Switching Center and Home Location Register software integration testing. In 2005, Petri became a Manager and took on additional responsibilities, including managing the Radio Cloud Platform Product Continuous Integration virtual team. Additionally, they handled software installation testing and troubleshooting for 3G Radio Network Controller. Before their time at Nokia Networks, Petri worked as an Electrician at Sähkö Aalto Oy from 1984 to 1990.

Petri Virtanen has a background in telecommunications technology and electrical work. From 1990 to 1993, they attended Riihimäen teknillinen oppilaitos, focusing on telecommunications technology and technician training. Prior to that, from 1982 to 1984, Petri studied at Hämeenlinnan Opettajaopiston ammattikoulu, specializing in electrical work.
