Sami Kontio

Sami Kontio has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Sami started their career as a Sales Attendant at Ruokakauppa Kontio ky from 1990 to 1995. Following that, they worked as an Assembler at FUJITSU LIMITED from 1996 to 1998. Sami then joined Nokia in 1998, where they held various software engineering roles, including Software Engineer for Intellingent Networks, Engineer in Fault Detection, and Engineer. Sami worked in Nokia until 2019, except for a brief period from 2016 to 2017 when they worked as an Engineer in Fault Detection. In 2019, they joined VALA Group Oy as a Test Automation Engineer. Sami also worked at OpusCapita as a Test Automation Engineer from July 2019 to February 2020. Currently, Sami is employed at KONE, where they have worked as a Software Testing Engineer and a SW System Testing Engineer. In these roles, they have been responsible for creating test automation, testing various elevator simulators and components, and building and maintaining testing simulators. Sami has used Robot Framework, Python, Jenkins, Jira, JAMA, and various KONE custom software. Sami's work experience showcases their proficiency in testing, automation, and software engineering.

Sami Kontio attended the Helsinki Institute of Technology from 1996 to 1999, where they obtained a degree in Telecommunications. Their degree was in the field of Technician.
