Sanna Halmkrona

Sanna Halmkrona has work experience as a Test Automation Engineer at VALA since 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Master's Thesis Worker at Aalto University from April 2021 to December 2021. During their time at Aalto University, they designed and built a data acquisition system for collecting underwater acoustic data. In 2020, they interned at Silicon Labs as part of the Bluetooth stack team, where they upgraded Jenkins pipelines and improved test stages and functional testing. In 2019, they worked as a Summer Trainee at Planmeca, where they developed automation tests for an X-ray imaging device and updated regression test cases. Additionally, in 2018, they worked as a Summer Trainee at Planmeca, writing computer system validation documents in English and troubleshooting software. Prior to these roles, they worked as a Processing Operator at Murata Electronics Oy, where they operated machines in an ISO 7 clean room and did visual quality control. Sanna also has experience as a Tourist Guide at Tornio Church from June 2013 to June 2014.

Sanna Halmkrona has a Master's degree in Control, Robotics and Autonomous Systems from Aalto University, which they obtained from 2019 to 2022. Prior to their Master's degree, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Automation and Control Engineering at Aalto University from 2014 to 2019. Sanna also attended Tornion yhteislyseon lukio from 2011 to 2014 and graduated from there. In addition to their formal education, Sanna Halmkrona has obtained the ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level certification from the ISTQB® - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in April 2022.
