Jeffrey Price has extensive work experience in the field of bioengineering and medical research. Jeffrey started their career in 1991 as a PostDoc and Research Scientist at UCSD Bioengineering, where they worked until 2004. During this time, they also founded Q3DM, Inc. in 1998 and served as its Founder and Chief Scientific Officer until 2003. In 2004, they joined Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute as an Adjunct Professor, where they worked until 2014. In the same year, they became a Professor at Scintillon Institute, a position they currently hold. Additionally, in 2004, they also became the President and CEO of Vala Sciences, Inc., a role they continue to hold. Overall, Jeffrey Price has gained significant experience in various roles, including research, entrepreneurship, and leadership.
Jeffrey Price's education history begins in 1977, when they attended Pacific Union College for an unspecified period. In 1980, they transferred to the University of Southern California and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering. Jeffrey then pursued further studies at Loma Linda University from 1981 to 1985, where they earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. Finally, from 1985 to 1990, they attended UC San Diego, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Bioengineering.
