Ahmed Elbakri

Ahmed Elbakri has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Ahmed is currently working as the Commercial Lead at Valar Labs since July 2022. Prior to this, they co-founded Yocto Biosciences Inc. in January 2021 and served as a Co-Founder until May 2022. Ahmed also worked as an Equity Research Analyst at Verdad from October to December 2020, and at Merchant Adventure Investment Advisors, LLC from June to August 2020.

In 2019, Ahmed founded their own company, Ebnie, where they served as the Founder and CEO from February 2019 to July 2020. Before that, they gained valuable experience as a Methods Engineer at Valentine Maritime Gulf L.L.C. from July 2017 to June 2019, and as an Offshore Methods Engineer at Saipem from February 2015 to February 2018. Ahmed started their professional career as a Project Engineer at Khatib & Alami CEC in November 2012, where they worked until February 2015.

Overall, Ahmed has demonstrated their entrepreneurial spirit through founding their own company and has acquired expertise in equity research, project management, and engineering roles throughout their career.

Ahmed Elbakri completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General at Stanford University Graduate School of Business from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Civil Engineering from the American University of Sharjah, where they studied from 2008 to 2012.
