Anirudh Joshi

Anirudh Joshi has a wealth of experience in the field of artificial intelligence, deep learning, and machine learning. Anirudh is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Valar Labs. Prior to this, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at Stanford University, leveraging cutting edge artificial intelligence to solve healthcare problems. Anirudh also worked as a Deep Learning Researcher at PathAI and Curai, where they architected AI to scale telemedicine and developed abstractive dialogue summarization with deep learning. In 2018, they worked as an Applied Scientist, Deep Learning at Microsoft, where they trained and deployed state of the art sequence to sequence models in Microsoft Word to power the Rewrite Suggestions feature. Anirudh has also worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at Georgia Institute of Technology, where they developed a commercial product to non-invasively monitor blood pressure and was a member of the Georgia Tech's iGEM team. In 2017, they worked as a Computer Vision Scientist, Neuromodulation at Boston Scientific, developing computer vision and machine learning algorithms to analyze fluoroscopic images and locate the spinal cord stimulator leads. In 2016, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Capital One, developing unsupervised Machine Learning models on log data to predict anomalous queries. Additionally, they have worked as an R&D Engineer at W. L. Gore & Associates and CR Bard.

Anirudh Joshi completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2017. Anirudh then went on to pursue a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science from Stanford University, which they completed in 2021.
