Bas de Jong

Bas de Jong is a Senior Principal Data Engineering professional and Solution Architect currently at Valcon. Previously, Bas held various roles at Bausch + Lomb, including Chairman of the European Works Council and Business Analyst, as well as several positions at Valcon, notably as a Senior Data Engineer. Bas earned a Master of Science degree from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Bachelor’s degree from De Haagse Hogeschool. With a diverse background that includes roles in logistics and simulation engineering, Bas brings extensive experience in data engineering and project management to their current position.
