Daan Smit

Daan Smit is a Senior Specialist at Valcon since April 2021, and previously held the position of Associate. Daan has experience as a Graduate Student at Vanderlande, where the focus was on optimizing the crossorter infeed system using merge balancing algorithms. An internship at Zhejiang University involved automating a pollen detection device and developing a software program for image merging and pollen identification. Prior roles include Experience Center Host at ASML, where Daan facilitated tours for visitors, and Acquisition Commissioner at Business Core Eindhoven.
