Heleen Jones

Heleen Jones has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in human resources, office management, and project coordination. Heleen most recently worked at Valcon as a Human Resources Officer. Prior to that, they held the position of Human Resources Officer/Office Manager at Netherlands Food Partnership. Heleen also worked at IDH, The Sustainable Trade Initiative, where they served as a Human Resources Officer and then as a Facilities Coordinator covering maternity leave. Heleen previously worked at Sanofi Genzyme as an Assistant, Mapi Group as an Office & Facilities Manager, Ecofys as a Tender Desk Officer and Office Assistant/Receptionist, and Eni International B.V. in various roles such as HR Assistant, Junior Project Manager, and Office Manager. Heleen began their career as a Call Centre Agent at Klant Contact Services and completed an internship at Europees Platform. Heleen's work experience also includes a research assistant role at Universiteit Utrecht/Meertens Instituut.

Heleen Jones has a diverse education history. Heleen obtained their Medewerker Personeelszaken degree from Associatie voor Examinering in 2022, specializing in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration. Heleen also earned certifications in various areas, including Personeel, Organisatie & Communicatie niveau 3, Arbeidsrecht & Sociale Zekerheid niveau 3, Basiskennis Loonadministratie (BKL), and Loonheffingen niveau 3, all from Associatie voor Examinering, in 2022 and 2023.

Prior to that, Heleen completed a Personal Leadership program in 2020 through the Soroptimist Mentoring Programme BeNeLux. In 2019, they also attended the Scheidegger Opleidingen and obtained a HBO degree in Facility Management.

Heleen's academic journey began at Utrecht University, where they earned a Master's degree in Taal, Mens en Maatschappij (Applied Linguistics) in 2012, following a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Culture in 2011. Heleen initially started their higher education at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, where they earned a Propedeuse in Leraar Engels 2e Graads (English Teacher) in 2008.

Furthermore, Heleen has additional certifications related to English language proficiency, including a Certificate of Proficiency in English from Wimbledon Open Centre (& School of English) in 2007, as well as a Certificate in Writing Skills from the University of Westminster in 2007.

Before their university studies, Heleen completed their Havo diploma in Economie en Maatschappij at Veurs College in 2005. Their education commenced at Daltonschool de Tandem, where they completed their primary education from 1992 to 2000.
