Johan Hamstra

Johan Hamstra has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Johan began their career at Centric IT solutions as a Master Thesis Worker in 2005. Then in 2006, they joined Tieto as a QA Consultant, where they worked on various customer projects and managed teams ranging from 5 to 15 test consultants. Johan stayed with Tieto until 2010.

After that, Johan joined Nokia as a Project Manager, responsible for the full lifecycle of projects, including stakeholder engagement, deployment, and information analysis. Johan collaborated with stakeholders to design solutions for identified problems. Johan'stime at Nokia lasted until 2013.

From 2013 to 2016, Johan worked at Valcon as a Manager. Johan then moved up to the role of Senior Manager from 2017 to 2020. After that, they became a Senior Principal for Low Code until 2022. Currently, Johan holds the position of Director - Low Code at Valcon since July 2022.

Overall, Johan Hamstra has had progressive growth in their career, taking on increasingly senior roles and gaining expertise in project management, information analysis, and low code development.

Johan Hamstra completed their Msc. degree in Technology Management from the University of Groningen, where they studied from 1999 to 2006. Additionally, they spent a year as an exchange student at SGH Warsaw School of Economics from 2004 to 2005, focusing on Economics. Johan also holds several certifications, including Mendix Expert Developer obtained in May 2017, TOGAF 9 obtained in May 2015, Project Management Professional (PMP) obtained in November 2012, and Scrum Master Certificate obtained in October 2010.
