Lars Janssen

Lars Janssen has work experience as a Data Scientist at Valcon since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Research and Development Intern at VIKTOR from May 2021 to August 2021. During their internship, Lars focused on exploring machine learning opportunities in the construction industry and developed an application for predicting pile drive times using an artificial neural network.

Lars Janssen completed their education with a Master's degree in Applied Physics from Delft University of Technology, which they pursued from 2019 to 2021. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Applied Physics from the same university, studying from 2016 to 2019. In 2018, Lars attended The University of British Columbia, where they completed an exchange program and earned a Minor BSc in Applied Physics. In terms of additional certifications, Lars obtained a Machine Learning Engineering for Production (MLOps) Specialization from Coursera in June 2022, and a Cambridge English Level 2 Certificate in ESOL International (Advanced) from Cambridge Assessment English in March 2016.
