Line Solberg has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Line began their career as a Finance Assistant at FLSmidth & Co. A/S, where they extracted data, conducted analyses, and prepared monthly accounting reports. Line also provided assistance to the Legal and Tax departments by extracting and accumulating data. Line then transitioned to the role of Treasury Analyst at the same company, where they engaged in currency trading, hedging, and monthly reporting. Line excelled at extracting and structuring complex data and effectively communicated both internally and externally.
In 2006, Line joined Nykredit as a Senior Dealer. Line'sresponsibilities included trading interests, foreign exchange swaps, options, and other derivatives. Line also conducted data extraction and analysis while contributing to process development projects and testing new systems.
Line expanded their skills and knowledge by joining the European Commission as a Proofreader. In this role, they focused on preparing manuscripts, proofreading and correcting texts for websites and other electronic platforms. Line ensured proper processing, control of styles and layout, and quality control of the content.
Returning to the private sector, Line joined Valcon as a Bid Manager in 2016. Line played a vital role in managing bids and proposals, leveraging their strong communication and project management skills. After three years in this role, they moved up within the company and took on the position of Director of People & Projects in 2020.
Prior to their current role, Line briefly worked at Motorola Solutions as a Bid Manager. In this capacity, they were responsible for overseeing bids and managing the proposal process.
Throughout their career, Line has consistently demonstrated their ability to effectively manage projects, analyze data, communicate clearly, and contribute to process improvement initiatives. Line'sstrong background in finance, communication, and project management positions their well for future opportunities.
Line Solberg completed their education at Copenhagen Business School, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration between 1998 and 2001. Line later pursued further studies at the same institution and earned a Master of Science degree in Applied Economics and Finance from 2002 to 2004. Additionally, they took part in an exchange program at the Schulich School of Business at York University in 2003, where they pursued an MBA degree.
