Milo Chau

Milo Chau has extensive work experience in various roles related to data analytics, self-service business intelligence (BI), and data science.

From 2013 to an unspecified end date, they worked as a Data Analytics Specialist at VIQTOR DAVIS, where they dealt with data dispersion and format disparities across systems and organizations.

Starting in December 2016 and ending in December 2020, they served as a Self-Service Enabler and Data Scientist at a financial institution, where they enabled self-service BI and supported sector management. In July 2018 to August 2019, they also worked as a Google Assistant Data Scientist for the institution, conducting analysis on usage without access to the Google analysis platform.

In November 2018 to July 2019, Milo worked for a security company as a Data Scientist, focusing on revenue forecasting and providing more accurate forecasting for better decision-making.

From February 2015 to June 2018, they held the role of Analytics Specialist E-Commerce at a large financial institution, specifically working on their internet banking customer portal.

In November 2015 to January 2016, they worked as a BI Architect for a shipping company, helping them become more self-sufficient in report creation and implementing a data ingestion and authorization model.

From August 2015 to January 2016, they were a Technical Lead for Data Warehouse (DWH) front-end at a digital platform security company, involved in replacing their current BI system with a more mature solution.

In May 2015, they briefly worked as an Analytics Consultant at a large advertising site, designing and creating prototype dashboards for customer integration.

From September 2014 to May 2015, they served as a BI Consultant at ProRail, focusing on data storage and enabling analysis related to the operation of the ERTMS system and dual signaling.

In March 2014 to April 2015, Milo worked as an E-Invoicing Architect for a large manufacturing company, responsible for the architecture of an automated invoicing system. Milo also worked as a BI Consultant in the same company from August 2013 to April 2014, developing Tableau reports for performance monitoring.

Lastly, from July 2014 to November 2014, they were involved in daily maintenance and support of the Enterprise Service Bus at Mexx, a role that also included documentation tasks.

Milo Chau received their Bachelor's degree in Business Information Technology from Inholland University of Applied Sciences from 1999 to 2003. Before attending university, Milo attended Griftland College from 1994 to 1999. Milo also has several additional certifications, including Tableau Server 8 Qualification from Tableau Software, IBM Content Analytics Product Fundamentals Technical Professional from IBM, IBM Certified Developer - Cognos 10 BI Metadata Models from IBM, IBM PureData System for Analytics Technical Professional from IBM, IBM Big Data Fundamentals Technica Mastery Test from IBM, and MCSA Machine Learning from Microsoft.
