Nik de Geus

Nik de Geus has been working as a Data Scientist at Valcon since January 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Analyst at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. from December 2018 to December 2019. Nik also gained experience as a Data Science Trainee at Yacht from November 2018 to December 2019. Before entering the data science field, Nik worked as a Bioinformatics Research Intern at UMC Utrecht from January 2018 to September 2018. Nik also worked as a Research Intern at Universiteit Utrecht from September 2016 to September 2017. Earlier in their career, Nik worked as a Camera Assistant at MySports from October 2012 to June 2017 and as a Logistics Employee at Albert Heijn from February 2015 to February 2017.

Nik de Geus completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Utrecht University, from the years 2013 to 2016. Later, from 2016 to 2018, Nik de Geus pursued further education at Utrecht University, specializing in Cancer, Stem Cells, and Developmental Biology with a focus on the Bioinformatics profile.
