Patrick van der Spoel

Patrick van der Spoel has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Patrick is currently employed at Valcon as a Principal Mendix Developer, where they are responsible for designing, building, and maintaining innovative and high-quality solutions that improve operational performance. Prior to this, they worked at QforIT B.V. as a Solution Consultant, specializing in developing SAP integration solutions and low-code applications with Mendix. At T-Mobile Nederland, Patrick held various roles, including Corporate Account Coördinator DBO, where they focused on onboarding new corporate customers and implementing Salesforce as a CRM system. Patrick also worked as a B2B Service Relations representative at T-Mobile. Patrick gained experience as a Reporter at Partyscene, and earlier in their career, they worked at Nationale-Nederlanden as an Acceptant and in customer service.

Patrick van der Spoel has an extensive education history. Patrick started their education at Erasmus College in 2003, where they completed their HAVO degree with a specialization in E&M in 2007. Following this, they attended Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences from 2008 to 2013 and obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Leisure Management.

In 2015, Patrick enrolled in Open Universiteit and pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology, which they completed in 2017. Patrick then continued their studies at Open Universiteit, completing a Pre-Master degree in Methods of research from 2017 to 2018.

Patrick furthered their education with a focus on Business Process Management & IT, enrolling in Open Universiteit's Master of Science (MSc) program. Patrick successfully obtained their MSc degree in 2020.

In addition to their academic achievements, Patrick has also obtained several certifications. In 2019, they received the SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP Cloud Platform Integration certification from SAP. In 2019, they also attained the Mendix Rapid Developer certification from Mendix.

In 2020, Patrick further augmented their skills by gaining the Mendix Advanced Developer certification from Mendix and completing a Web Development course in core concepts of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS at Mimo.
