Tianyi Chen is a Technology Consultant at Valcon since March 2023 and a Designer at TyChen Design from June 2021. Previous experience includes a UX Design Intern at Next Nature, where Tianyi designed a visual-audial AI system for interactive museum experiences, and a Teaching Assistant Tutor for a User-centred Design Course at Eindhoven University of Technology. As an Interaction Designer with Team IGNITE, user research and User Experience design for a light installation at the GLOW Festival were key contributions. Earlier roles included English Language Teacher at Shinyway International and Hardware Engineer at Siemens. Tianyi holds a Master of Science in Industrial Design from Eindhoven University of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Zhejiang University, along with an exchange study at KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
