Tim Ellens

Tim Ellens has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Tim is currently working at Valcon as a Senior Principal Data Engineer, responsible for managing data platforms and insights. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal Data Platform & Insights at the same company and as a Manager Business Technology. Before joining Valcon, Tim worked as a Senior Business Technology Consultant at First Consulting, where they specialized in Business Intelligence and Data and Analytics. Tim also gained experience as a Business Technology Consultant at the same company. Additionally, Tim has worked as a Solution Consultant at BlueCielo ECM Solutions, where they provided solutions for customers. In the early stages of their career, Tim worked as a Sales Representative at Bikesplaza and held a role as Treasurer and IT at the MSC BIM board at STAR Study Association Rotterdam School of Management.

Tim Ellens has a diverse educational background. Tim obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Business Information Management from Erasmus University Rotterdam, graduating in 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Business Administration from the same university, graduating in 2013. Tim's education journey began at Erasmus College, where they earned their VWO degree in E&M in 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Tim has also acquired several certifications. Tim obtained the "Cloud digital leader" certification from Google in April 2023. Prior to that, they earned multiple certifications from Microsoft, including "Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals" in April 2021, "Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate" in March 2021, and "Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals" in February 2020.
