Marie Rotter

Marie Rotter has a diverse work experience in various industries. In 2007, they worked as a File Clerk at Tesser and Ruttenberg Law Office, where they were responsible for maintaining a precise filing system and performing research. From 2009 to 2010, Marie was a Television Intern at Davie Brown Entertainment, where they initiated and maintained client relationships, conducted phone calls and data entry, and designed promotional material. In 2010, they served as a Social Media Advisor at Lava Cap Winery, introducing the winery to social media outlets and leading wine tastings. Marie then worked as a Planning Intern at the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Los Angeles in 2011, where they amended redevelopment projects and organized outreach meetings. Later in 2011, they joined 1010 Development Corporation as a Development Intern, researching property acquisition and participating in the entitlement process for affordable multi-family development. From 2012 to 2016, Marie worked as a Senior Regional Planner at the Los Angeles County Department of Regional Planning, counseling constituents on land use information and processing various permits and applications. Marie then became a Planner at the County of Los Angeles Department of Beaches and Harbors from 2016 to 2018. Currently, Marie is working in Business Development at Valcre, starting in 2016.

Marie Rotter pursued their education at the University of Southern California from 2010 to 2012, where they obtained a master's degree in Urban Planning. Prior to that, they attended UCLA from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a bachelor's degree in Geography/Environmental Studies.
