Jacob Valdemar is the Founder and Owner of VALD agency, a representation platform for international designers with a presence in Copenhagen and a showroom in Paris, serving over 300 retail partners in 30 markets since May 2013. As Co-Founder and Director of NORDIC CONTEMPORARY, Valdemar supports Scandinavian contemporary artists in a temporary art space in Paris since October 2014. Valdemar has held a board membership with WEAR - Danish Chamber of Commerce since October 2012 and is a Partner at Henrik Vibskov Retail, overseeing multiple retail locations and an online store since August 2006. Additionally, Valdemar has served as Chief Executive Officer of Henrik Vibskov Boutique since October 2004 and was a Founder and Board Member at Agency V until April 2014. Early career includes co-founding RECession, a local live music initiative, and interning at Idea Garden, a company focused on value-based coaching. Valdemar holds a degree from Kaospilot, completed in 2005.
