James McKennay

James McKennay is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in user experience and digital consultancy. Currently serving as a Senior Designer at VALD since February 2023, James previously contributed as a Senior User Experience Engineer at Tabcorp, where the focus was on enhancing team capabilities, guiding design systems, and leveraging customer research for product strategy. As User Experience Lead at Domino's Pizza Enterprises Limited, James established the UX capability and led a multi-disciplinary team for significant e-commerce projects. Prior experience includes serving as Design Lead and Co-Director at Bit Precision, managing various design and software development projects, and holding multiple roles at Domino's Pizza. James holds a Bachelor of Information Technology, Software Development from Queensland University of Technology, complemented by experience as a Teacher's Aide at the Academy of Interactive Entertainment.
