Jasmine Ogilvy

Jasmine Ogilvy is a geologist with extensive experience in the mining industry, currently working at Vale since February 2023. At Vale, Jasmine focuses on safety procedures, stope layout packages, core logging, and technical support across departments, leveraging skills in underground mapping and digitization. Previous roles include positions at Northern Employment Solutions Inc, Impala Canada, Pure Gold Mining, Glencore, Wesdome Gold Mines, and Goldcorp, where Jasmine handled core logging, grade control, and geological reporting, as well as participated in safety meetings and inspections. Education includes a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) (Honours) in Earth Science from Laurentian University, complemented by foundational experience with the Ontario Geological Survey.
